Lost Properties Shop

We have recently made great progress on our forthcoming project Lost Properties Shop.

This project is designed to raise awareness, the profile, to give voice to and celebrate the work of carers. Carers provide unpaid care by looking after an ill, frail or disabled family member, friend or partner.

On June 25th and 26th we will exhibit the work for the first time and create new artwork with the public during an artists' residency at Manchester Art Market www.manchestermarkets.com Manchester Markets have kindly supported us for this event. In addition today, we have had an offer of sponsorship from Oxfam, who will be providing us with some of the materials to make the artwork.

In the Autumn we will run a series of art workshops with groups of carers from all over Greater Manchester and the High Peak. With the resulting artwork, we’ll be creating high profile art events, in partnership with Manchester City Council, Manchester Markets, Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester Carers' Forum.
